I’ve been running for just over three years. 

I started during lockdown because the gym closed, never looked back because I loved it!

Biggest running achievement - sub 4 hour marathon at York in 2022.

 

 

Three things about me:

  1. I like to lift heavy weights
  2. I love horror movies
  3. I’m massively into heavy metal music!

 

 

Favourite race:  Laxton 10k because that’s where my PB is from, & it’s nice & flat

 

Running goal for 2023:  I’d like a sub 45 minute 10k but don’t know if it’ll happen this year.  I just want to get back to where I was before my Achilles injury.

 

 

Running tip:  eat enough to fuel your runs, especially the long ones.  I learnt that the hard way.

Favourite food:  crunchy peanut butter.

 

 

Trainers:  Brooks adrenaline GTS, and a pair of Nike Vaporfly’s for those special races.

 

Three celebrities I’d invite to dinner:  Paula Radcliffe, Stephen King & Rob Halford from the band Judas Priest.  Then that’s all my favourite things covered!
